London looks to Madrid. And not only its tourists, but also its investors. The slight economic recovery of Spain is normalizing trade relations between Britain and Spain. In fact, UK is the fifth customer, the sixth and the second investment destination in Spain. The deal is still unfair, but the difference is shortening. Currently in the UK there are more than 300 Spanish companies, while in Spain there are over 700 British companies, such as Vodafone.

Antonio Fernández- Martos, General Director of Trade and Investment in the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, said in the meeting on Hispano-British Business Cooperation organized by the CEOE on February the 25th, that "recently Britain is becoming one of the main investors in Spain, as well as a Spanish investments receiver".

UK invested in Spain 1,088 million Euros in the first three quarters of 2013, 87% more than the same period last year. But, which are the interests of the Britons? According to Fernandez-Matos, the most popular sectors are 'the game, the real estate and commercial distribution". At the same time, in the third quarter of 2013 , the Spanish investment in Britain amounted to 802 million.
