Economic crisis cannot compete with the attractiveness of Salvador Dalí and his legacy. Let’s take a look at the recent exhibitions in Paris and Madrid, or at those places associated with the life and work of this Catalan genius in order to check it out. Thus, in 2013 the Foundation Gala-Salvador Dalí reached a new record: nearly 1.6 million people - 8.42% more than in 2012 - went to the Theatre-Museum in Figueres, the Gala-Dalí Castle in Púbol and the House-Museum in Portlligat (Cadaques).

As the secretary general of the foundation, Lluís Peñuelas, has explained, in 2013 1,580,517 people visited Dalí museums, an historic record, "very positive, considering the current context." It also shows, he said, "the great attractiveness of Dalí".
